This Privacy Policy explains how Herecorp, Inc. collects, uses, stores, and shares information for the HereKey mobile app, HereKey web services, and HereView Screen products. This policy is intended to help customers, service providers, businesses, venue operators, screen administrators, and app store reviewers understand how personal information is handled when using our services.
HereKey helps users request and manage real-world services. HereView Screen helps authorized users display approved content on connected screens, venue displays, business profiles, menus, events, community boards, or related viewing surfaces.
Information We Collect
We may collect information you provide directly, information created when you use the services, and information needed to operate app features.
- Account and contact information: name, phone number, email address, profile details, business details, provider details, and login information.
- Service and booking information: requests, job details, messages, support notes, order status, provider responses, and transaction records.
- Location information: approximate or precise location when needed for nearby services, dispatch, safe zones, community features, attendance, delivery, or screen/location-based experiences.
- Device and app information: device type, app version, browser type, IP address, identifiers, diagnostics, crash logs, and usage activity.
- Media and content: photos, videos, audio, documents, posts, menu items, event details, screen content, and other materials you upload, create, scan, or choose to display.
- Payment-related information: payment status, escrow status, receipts, payout details, and limited payment metadata. Card and bank details may be processed by third-party payment providers and are not stored directly by HereKey unless clearly stated in a specific product flow.
App Permissions
Depending on the feature you use, the app may request access to device permissions. You can allow, deny, or later change these permissions in your device settings.
- Location: used for nearby service matching, dispatch, delivery, safe zones, attendance, community alerts, venue experiences, and location-based screen or profile content.
- Camera and photos: used when you choose to upload profile images, job photos, receipts, documents, menu images, event media, screen media, or other content.
- Microphone: used only when a feature requires audio input, voice communication, recorded content, or live audio features that you choose to use.
- Notifications: used for booking updates, provider dispatches, messages, alerts, account updates, payment status, screen/admin notices, and service reminders.
- Contacts or login credentials: used only when you choose a feature that requires account lookup, login assistance, sharing, or credential-related app linking.
How We Use Information
- Provide, operate, and improve HereKey and HereView features.
- Match customers with service providers, dispatch jobs, coordinate bookings, and manage safe-zone or location-based experiences.
- Show approved content on HereView screens and related public or private display surfaces.
- Process payments, escrow activity, provider payouts, refunds, and transaction records.
- Send service notifications, login messages, account updates, receipts, support responses, and security alerts.
- Prevent fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, and unsafe activity.
- Comply with legal, tax, payment, and platform requirements.
Location Data
Some HereKey and HereView features depend on location, such as nearby service requests, provider dispatch, safe zones, community alerts, property experiences, delivery, check-in, attendance, and screen-based content. We use location data only for features you use or enable. We do not sell location data. You can control app location permissions in your device settings, but some services may not work correctly if location access is disabled.
HereView Screen Content
HereView screens may display business, venue, restaurant, event, community, menu, profile, media, alert, or promotional content configured by authorized users. Content submitted for screen display may be stored, processed, moderated, and shown on connected screens or related web views. Do not upload private or sensitive content unless you intend for it to appear on the selected screen or audience surface.
Sharing Information
We do not sell personal information. We may share information when needed to operate the services, including with:
- Customers, service providers, businesses, event organizers, venue operators, screen owners, or administrators involved in a request or configured experience.
- Payment processors, hosting providers, analytics providers, communication providers, and other vendors that help operate HereKey or HereView.
- Law enforcement, regulators, courts, or other parties when required by law or needed to protect rights, safety, security, or property.
- A successor organization if HereKey is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, or transfer of business assets.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect information. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee that unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or disclosure will never occur.
Data Retention
We keep information as long as reasonably needed to provide the services, maintain business records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent fraud, and comply with legal, tax, payment, and regulatory obligations. Retention periods may vary by feature and record type.
Account Deletion And Data Requests
You may request account deletion or ask us to access, correct, export, or delete personal information by contacting us at privacy@herekey.app. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. Some information may be retained when required for legal, tax, payment, security, dispute-resolution, fraud-prevention, or operational reasons.
Your Choices
- You can update certain account information in the app or by contacting us.
- You can control device permissions such as location, camera, photos, microphone, and notifications through your device settings.
- You can request access, correction, or deletion of personal information, subject to identity verification and legal or operational limits.
- You can opt out of non-essential promotional communications by following the instructions in those messages or contacting us.
State And Regional Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have privacy rights under applicable laws, including rights to know, access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of certain personal information. Children
HereKey and HereView are not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.

HereKey and HereView may link to or integrate with third-party services such as app stores, payment processors, maps, messaging tools, analytics tools, and external websites. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.
International Users
If you access HereKey or HereView from outside the United States, your information may be processed and stored in the United States or other locations where our service providers operate. By using the services, you understand that privacy laws may differ from those in your location.
